Bianca Del Rio Hilariously Reads The Queens Of 'Drag Me to Dinner'
Not today, Satan!
Bianca Del Rio has made drag fans around the world laugh with her hysterical insult comedy. Now, the star is bringing her quick wit and hot takes to the judges panel on the new competition show Drag Me to Dinner.
Created by Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, the series features plenty of notable queens including some of our favorite RuPaul's Drag Race stars as they try and show off their cooking skills in the kitchen.
"To be in the company of these fools is a guaranteed good time," Rio says. "What was fun was to get to see 40 queens come in and out and to see all of them leave every episode! That was a treat. Get rid of them hoes!"
With anti-LGBTQ+ laws sweeping the country and targeting drag entertainers, Rio is hopeful the show can change minds by bringing positive drag representation into everyone's homes.
"I think that what gets lost in all this legislation and propaganda and news is that it is entertainment. That's what it's about. I'm hoping that people watch it with an open mind and don't take things so seriously. Everything is not so serious! Just go out there and watch drag queens attempt to cook."
Although Rio is a hilarious judge on the show, the queen is also joined by Neil Patrick Harris and Haneefah Wood on the panel.
"It is mayhem. I think it might be one of the craziest shows I have ever watched on TV. To me, the edit of the show is so spectacular. Expect to have a good time. Go on the ride. Don't think too much. Just watch it and laugh, like I did," Wood says.
With so many fabulous drag queens on the show, Murray Hill brings the drag king representation by acting as the show's host. The star also makes history as the first transgender drag king to host a reality competition show.
"I gotta tell you... it was nuts. I was the only king among the queens. I was also the shortest person by about five feet with these queens," Hill says. "Let's break that little glass ceiling, because Ross Mathews wasn't available."
