And while you can indeed find weaponry or armor, Master Daidara of Daidara Metalworks will make you new items for a different price – the items dropped by enemies after battles.

Beginning on 4/17, when the team decides they’ll need better weaponry if they intend to go through the Midnight Channel, you can visit Master Daidara at his shop in the South Shopping District.

Not only will he exchange battle loot for yen, but he's also a capable craftsman, willing to forge armor, weapons, and accessories from them if you’d prefer.

He does charge in yen for each piece you commission, but his gear is some of the best in the game, so it's typically well worth the price.
