Suspects Try To Steal ATM By Dragging It Out Of Gas Station With Chain | Bowie, MD Patch

BOWIE, MD — Several people went into a Mobil gas station in Bowie Thursday around 2 a.m. and stole an entire ATM, police say.

The suspects can be seen on surveillance video using hooks and chains to drag the machine out of the store located at 7110 Crain Highway. The video shows them pulling part of the ATM off, then attaching a hook and chain to it. They used a car to yank the machine out of the store, damaging a door, Prince George's Police said.

A red van and a black sedan were reported near the scene according to police.
